Shed Rewiring Project Update

Hello Fellow Sailors!

Thanks to Al Duffin and Harry Hallworth for doing the investigative work and acquiring quotes, this work was deferred as there was a substantial cost.

I asked again for funding at the fall meeting for $2750 dollars and that we would have the work completed before spring. This motion was approved by the membership.

Northumberland Proelectric of Cobourg was hired and removed all the old household wiring and replaced it with armour coated wire adding an extra GFCI plug to the front of the shed. We replaced all outdoor receptacles with GFCI’s on separate circuits and replaced the existing lighting with LED fixtures with a single switch at the door, no more guessing how to turn on the lights!

Total cost including taxes came in at just below $2600.
