The 2019 Kelly Trophy race was held on Sat June 22, 2019. The trophy was presented to the club 5 years ago by JC and Suzanne Sullivan in memory of their daughter. Boats participating in this race must be skippered by a female.
Saturday brought nice sunny weather, but with a variable gusty wind. There were four participants in the race – Patricia Skerlan sailing Eileen, Christine Lachapelle sailing Tomfoolery, Valerie Wheaton sailing Wind Shadow and Anna Currie sailing Xtasea.
Congratulations to Christine for winning the race. Anna was second (1 second behind Christine), Patricia was 3rd and Valerie was 4th.
