On July 3 three boats from PYC containg 7 members sailed (motored actually) to Rochester Yacht Club (RYC) which sits on the shoreline of the Genesee River. The fleet spend three nights there, enjoying all that RYC has to offer…good food, swimming pool, and the many 4th of July fireworks shows put on by surrounding communities. RYC members were very friendly and the yacht club staff was extremely nice and helpful. Several of us enjoyed RYC so much that they plan on returning this summer with their family.
The trip back to PYC was once again with out wind so we actually spent less than two hours on this voyage sailing. However the good times and fun that we had at Rochester made the trip very worthwhile.
