Another lovely evening for our final Wednesday evening race of the season. 10 boats reported to the starting line (which was a great turn-out). The course was one that we also have listed for Saturday races – and unfortunately, half the fleet used their Saturday start times (which are times after the La Di Da start) instead of their Wednesday start times (which are times after the Loon start). Loon is a slower boat than La Di Da, so these times are different. As a result, 5 boats were disqualified. In the end, Impact was first, Tomfoolery second and Xtasea third. The final results for the series comprising 7 races (which allowed for 2 discards/throw-outs), are Ariel first, Xtasea second, and Impact and Tomfoolery tied for third. The full series results are posted on the above link.
We had an average turn-out of over 9 boats per race which was great! Thank you and congratulations to everyone who participated!
