Due to the fabulous work completed on Wednesday and Thursday, March 16 & 17, the new mast crane dock is 98% complete (see following photos). The major contributors to this accomplishment include Dennis Christie (both days), Al Borg (both days), and Paavo Kivisto(both days), while others who were only available for one long day include Andy Coxhead, Tom Willison, Brad Chapman, Tom Nelson, Bruce Lord, and Bob Hallworth. Forgive me if I have missed anyone. Only a couple of minor items remain which can be completed in our spring work parties: 1) rebuild the two sets of stairs to our permanent docks and 2) smooth the landscaping transition from the gravel roadway to the new dock elevation.
Every member I have mentioned above played a huge part in this construction project, but none more than our site supervisor, Logan Moher, who directed us to follow good practices and careful detail. Because of Logan, we now have a new, solid, square, level, long-lasting mast crane dock……………………… Alan Hallworth
