The race will be held on Saturday, August 3, followed by a pot-luck supper and awards presentation.
Although Waupoos Marina is not taking transients they said that they will make an exception for us for the race. They will accommodate us as much as possible regarding dockage arrangements on Friday and Saturday nights. As usual, we have use of facilities to host the event.
We are compiling a list of participants for the event and Rick Tinga will provide the names to the marina on Friday, July 26. Rick will drop off an information sheet and sign-up sheet at PYC.
Probably the biggest item on planning the list will be awards and finding sponsors who would like to contribute to the event. CFBTYC will be providing items for the gift draws and trophies and asks that PYC also provide items as you have for the past years. Also, if you have suggestions for potential sponsors please let Rick know.
