A Community Contribution From PYC
PYC’s Sail Day for the learning impaired has been a mammoth success for years. Recognizing that many members are cruising in August, we have moved the event to Thursday, July 18 so that cruisers can participate too.
Inclusion Northumberland staff (formerly Community Living,) will bring 35-40 guests to the club for a short sailing adventure. This event is a major attraction for our guests and has always been a great day for the member skippers who participate.
Please mark your calendar and set aside 1100 to 1400 hours on July 18 to join in. If this is new to you the routine is to take guests on a one hour tour of the bay, return to port for a hot dog lunch, and a wonderful time including our guests in the PYC luncheon spirit.
To ensure success we need at least a dozen members to come forward to take a few people out on their boats. It’s a truly enjoyable day much appreciated by our guests. Please let me know that you’re in!
