Club Member and Coast Guard Auxiliary member John Crowe Sr will present a half hour presentation titled Cold Water Boot Camp. The presentation, which includes a professional video, deals with the effects of cold water submersion and survival techniques. This presentation will be held at the clubhouse on Tuesday May 27 at 1900 hr and it will last for approximately 30 minutes.
Considering that currently the water temperature off Pointe Petre is 3 C, this presentation is quite timely and can help us properly prepare to deal with cold water.
