50th update 2
The 50th anniversary committee is very busy putting the finishing touches on the July 16, 17 anniversary extravaganza. Below is a schedule of all events that are planned for these days. Sign up sheets for the dinner and breakfast are in the club house so please help with planning by signing up. We do not want
50th Anniversary Update
Important: Those of you who want to have Anniversary T shirts ready for the July 16th celebration should get your orders in by June 29th. This cut-off date will also apply to any club crested clothing. Please either sign the sheet in the club house or e mail your order to Cheryl G.
Club House Deck Repainted
On June 23 House chairman Don S organized a deck painting session and put out the call for highly skilled volunteers. Dave M, Allan D, Bob B, Rob A answered the call and the club house deck was given fresh coat of paint in time for the 50th anniversary weekend. The pictures show how great it now looks.
Sail Past 2016
The clubs 50th anniversary year started off with the annual Sail Past and dinner which took place on June 11. The day’s festivities started at 1400hr with a skipper’s meeting organized by Vice Commodore Fred W. Next was the a flag raising ceremony/blessing of the fleet that was organized by Alan H and Steve T.
