On March 8 preparations for the 2016 season officially started. Taking advantage of the nice weather, Phil arranged for several members to start welding and grinding on the last of the three docks that are being rebuilt on steel frames. From the pictures it looks like they are having a good time. Several more work sessions will be required to insure the docks are completed prior to the spring work parties and Phil will be organizing these as well. I hope you will give a helping hand as we want to spread the fun around.
Also work is under way redoing the club’s burgee display and re-organizing the wall hangings and furniture in the club house. Did you know that we have a burgee from Germany, several from Hawaii, and one from Vancouver? The clubhouse should look good come the first work party.
