On Thursday, August 9, PYC hosted the seventh annual Community Living Sail Day. The day, founded by member George Wilkinson, has grown in popularity year by year. This time around, eight Community Living caregivers participated with twenty-one people in care. Seven PYC members provided their boats and took participants for a one hour cruise of the bay. No one fell in but George’s hat went in the water at the dock! Afterwards all enjoyed hot dogs grilled by Community Living president, John Mood assisted by Don and served up by members. Susan Traer was chef in charge. Community Living Operations Manager, Donna Desjardins thanked PYC for hosting. Fred Wardle responded. Thanks to boaters, Bob Hallworth, Tom Willison, Don and Diane Stratton, Elie & Pete Ajram, Rob Arbuckle, Rob & Anna Currie, John Martinello, George Wilkinson, Gary Williamson. Commodore Willison thanked everyone for a wonderful day.
